W O W . . . what an amazing night we had on Popcorn turn in night . . . full of records!! I just want to take a minute to thank everyone for all their hard work during the popcorn sale this year. Thank you to all the Scouts for pushing through, to all the parents who had to drive them around, and all the families for their support. We couldn’t have done what we did without you and this year is no exception!!! This notice contains detailed instructions on how to turn in your popcorn sales. Please read through it thoroughly as I would hate for you to forget something and be sent home for it. Den Leaders & Den Kernels, please make sure everyone in your Den is aware of this information. Any Scout who did storefront sales at Lowe’s Foods on September 9th & 10th will receive additional instructions in a separate e-mail from me today.
If you follow these instructions, you will breeze through the turn-in process, but you must come prepared!! All forms MUST be filled out and checks balanced with totals prior to arriving at the turn-in.Turn-in Dates:- Sunday, October 23rd from 4-8 PM at my house. This is by appointment only. Please respond via e-mail and tell me what hour works for you and I will respond with a time. All times must be reserved by Friday night. Please DO NOT show up at my house without a scheduled time and please be on time!! The more people we can squeeze in on Sunday, the less crowded it will be on Monday. I am requesting that anyone with more than $1,000 in sales come on Sunday in addition to anyone else who needs Sunday.
- Monday, October 24th from 5-8 PM at the Church. This will be a first come first served approach and we will stay until everyone is taken care of. Again, if you follow the instructions, we will all get through it quickly.
- Monday is the last date for turn-ins. If you are going to be out of town or can not make one of these dates, you must notify me ahead of time to set up an earlier date. Read the rest of this entry »

Oct18No CommentsWOW . . . I can’t believe our Popcorn sale is finally coming to a close. Thank you to every single Scout who has sold popcorn this year. Thank you for all the pavement pounding, online sales, calls to Grandma, and for continuing on even when you got lots of No’s. Your dedication is going to give Pack 250 a fun year in Scouting!! I also want to take a moment to thank everyone for all the positive comments you have made to me this year – I really appreciate it!!So, did we meet our Pack Goal?? Who sold their $350 minimum?? Who are our top 10 sellers?? Who are our top Den’s?? Who is our top online seller?? And finally, who is our #1 seller this year?? Well, you’re just going to have to wait until next week. Please join us on Tuesday, October 25th at 7PM at Grace where all will be revealed!! After the advancements & announcements, prepare to roll up your sleeves and make a mess as we venture outside (weather permitting) to see how many pies we can throw at those Leader’s faces!! Oct12No CommentsOur sale is quickly coming to a close and I promise these next two weeks are going to be filled with lots of craziness – if you’re not sick of me yet, you will be soon!! :-) Just think, two weeks from tonight we will be on that stage to officially recognize our top sellers!! Who will sell their $350 minimum and get to throw a pie in a Leader’s face that night?? Who will be our top 10 sellers and get a day of fun at Sports Connection?? Who will be our top two selling Den’s and get a pizza party?? Who will be our top online seller?? And, finally, who will be the top seller for Pack 250 for 2011?? You may think you know the answers, but a lot can change in two weeks. These last two weeks are the most critical to our sale. This is what puts us on the map as being the top selling Pack!! If you have not sold your $350 minimum yet, what are you waiting for?? Did you know that last year we missed our Pack Goal by 4 Scouts?? I don’t want to deliver that kind of news again!! Remember . . . just because you CAN turn in popcorn doesn’t mean you have to, and just because you DID turn in popcorn, doesn’t mean you stop selling!!! We can do anything for two more weeks!! IMPORTANT – Please read through this entire post thoroughly!!! Den Leaders, Den Kernels & Scout Families: Please make sure everyone in your Den is aware of this popcorn announcement.
Show & Deliver returns will begin on Monday during the hours listed below. If you have Show & Deliver popcorn that you were not able to sell, you will have until Thursday night to return it. If you do not return it by Thursday night, you will be responsible for remitting full payment for the entire amount at the end of the sale (as stated in the pickup form you signed). There are NO EXCEPTIONS!!! If you call me in a frantic on Friday morning because you were out of town or forgot, you will NOT be able to return it as The Pack will have already returned it to The Council!! So plan ahead!! Also, this in no way means you are done selling. You will still have 10 more days to do Take Orders, Online Sales, and earn prizes!! Finally, please be respectful my time.
