Attached is the updated calendar for Pack 250 for 2011-2012. Please note that the Mother/Son Dance has been changed to January 7th. Details about the Charleston Aquarium Sleepover and Hunley trip will be coming out in an email later today or tomorrow so please look for that!

Hello Pack 250!
Now that we have started a new school year it’s also time to start up our scouting year. Our 2011-2012 calendar is available click=> Pack 250 Calendar of Events 2011_2012. As you all know, Fall is the busiest time in scouting so you’ll be receiving several emails about upcoming events. You should have already received information about Eco Trekking (Aug 27) and Beach Sweep (Sept 9-11).
Information about the Gold Rush camp out will be coming out shortly so please be on the lookout for that email. The deadlines for Beach Sweep and Gold Rush payments are very close to each other.

Pack 250,Here’s a quick reminder that we have a Pack Meeting tonight at Grace Church at 7PM. We’ll be doing popcorn prizes + advancements and awards.Also, here are the upcoming Pack events to be aware of. More details will follow for each of these events.• Sat Jan 22nd – Pinewood Derby @ Grace• Sun Jan 30th – Cub winter event• Sat Feb 5th – Mother Son Dance @ Grace• Sat Feb 26th – Blue & Gold Banquet @ Camp Thunderbird (please note this was rescheduled from Feb 19th to the 26th based on facilities availability)• Tues Mar 22nd – Raingutter Regatta @ Grace• April 15th – 17th – Graduation CampoutI look forward to seeing everyone at the pack meeting tonight!–

If you did not camp with us at the 2010 Gold Rush, you missed games, food, campfires, songs, skits, great afternoon weather, and the morning frost on your tent from below freezing overnight temperatures. But it was fun! See the newly posted movie trailer about this years Gold Rush.

Hello Pack 250! March is going to be another great month of scouting. Here are the upcoming events in March:
- March 6th – Cub Scout Pow Wow – 8:30AM at West End Baptist Church in Rock Hill. $10 registration fee. Classes will be taught for camping, knots, youth protection training, Dutch Oven Cooking, Derby Derby and more, etc. Advanced registration is required, please reply to this email if you’re interested.
- March 13th – Hockey Game with the Scouts – Have your pictures taken on the ice and receive a discounted rate for attending the game. $8/ticket. Please register for the Checker’s game using the e-vite that was sent out so there is an accurate count. The whole family is invited. Read the rest of this entry »
