Pack 250 News Sept 22 – Gold Rush Addition
Many of you were asking for more info on the Gold Rush Campout. It’s a BIG District campout with over 30 Packs attending. LOTS of FUN.
My suggestion for meals would be eat on the way in on Friday night. Have a simple breakfast Sat. morning, Have a family lunch or maybe Courtney’s BBQ. Make a special dinner with your Den. Maybe your Den needs a Grubmaster??? Eat something simple Sunday morning and hit a drive thru on the way home.
Next Pack Meeting – Oct. 20th
The October 20th Pack meeting will be at 7:04pm, at Grace Church. The theme is “Jungle Safari”. REMEMBER: Popcorn forms and money must be turned in at this pack meeting.

Tega Cay/Fort Mill Pack 250’s Open House Pack meeting and School Night for Scouting successfully recruited 49 new scouts. Joining us this year will be:

- 8 Wolf
- 4 Bears
- 4 Webelos

Fort Mill Cub Scout Pack 250 Has A New Website
The new Pack 250 website is up and running. The domain name is pack.bsa250.org. The pack email is packinfo@bsa250.org.
Some of the website features are:
Blog posts – The front page shows blog or Pack news posts.
Email subscription feature. When a new Pack post or news article is created, an email will be sent to anyone who subscribes to get the post updates. The Pack email list from last year has been loaded into the new website so all existing scout families should receive email updates. If you have another email address you would like to add just go to the website and type your email address in the Get email Updates box and hit subscribe. When you subscribe you are subscribing to get emails of new post not registering to use the site.
If you are into RSS feeds, there is an RSS feed for posts that anyone can subscribe to the feed.

School Night For Scouting Gold Hill Elementary Sept 10th
What to be a Cub Scout! Do you live in Fort Mill or Tega Cay, SC? You have two opportunities to find out what Cub Scouting in all about.
The first event is the open house Pack meeting with Pack 250 on September 1st, 2009 at 7pm at Grace Presbyterian Church located at 2955 W. HWY 160 Fort Mill, SC 29708. At the open house pack meeting you will get see an actual Pack meeting and view examples of many Cub Scout activities.
The second event is the “School Night For Scouting” September 10th at 7pm at the Gold Hill Elementary cafeteria. Continue reading
