Friday December 4 update:
Our spot for the parade is 42. The parade will start at 11am. Please be in line by 10:30am. Keep in mind that the roads leading to downtown Ft Mill will be closed off about 30 minutes before the parade begins.
According to our spot last year, we will probably be close to the back of the cemetery or middle. Look for spot 42. Matt will be there with Westley.
The parade is scheduled to go on rain or shine. If it is down pouring, they will make a decision by 8am.
Pack 250 Families,
The Pack will participate in the Fort Mill Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 5th. Scouts will walk the parade route. Dens are encouraged to bring their junkyard racer and take turns pushing and steering with adult help. Families are encouraged to walk with us. You may bring strollers or wagons for younger siblings. The Webelos dens will carry the Pack, State and United States flags.
Scouts must have an adult with them at all times. Tiger cubs must have a parent with them. Den Leaders may not take responsibility for tiger cubs, except their own scout. We can not make any exceptions to the rule. This is a BSA rule. Read the rest of this entry »

One other thing….the Sharks den is going to send some pinewood derby kits and a practice track so that the soldiers make them and have a race. If any other dens want to do the same, Read the rest of this entry »

At the Pack Meeting on Nov 17th (7:04 pm at Grace), we will collect gifts for the Troops again this year but with a different gift idea than years past. This year we are asking you to bring hand-made cards, pictures, etc.. and other small items to fit in flat rate boxes
We will send your cards and small items to Staff Sergeant Ray Hunter’s unit. Hunter’s unit, the 310th HRSC out of Fort Jackson in Columbia, is currently stationed in Kuwait. This an Army Reserve unit and for many of them it is their first deployment. They left in June 2009 and expect to be there at least until July 2010.
