Cub Scout Pack 250

The Pinewood Derby is Saturday, January, 28^th.  We hope your scout is in the process of putting the final touches on his derby car.  To help you better plan for the event, I’ve have two documents below to download:  1) an Agenda for the event that will help you understand what will take place on Friday and Saturday   2) a “Declaration of Derby Work” that you will be asked to sign as part of the registration process.

Also, please see below the information regarding the collection of medical forms at the Pinewood Derby and what to do if you are not planning to attend the races on Saturday.

We need two volunteers from each den to help throughout the day.  All volunteers should plan to attend the volunteer training on Friday evening to sign up for their specific responsibilities and time slot. Read the rest of this entry »

This is a reminder that our November Pack meeting is this Tuesday, November 15th at 7:00 PM at Grace Church.

As part of the meeting that night we will have Boy Scouts coming to join us from Troop 250. They will be speaking to our Cub Scouts about their experiences in scouting at the Boy Scout level as well as the path to Eagle Scout. Did you know that within Pack 250 there are leaders who are Eagle Scouts? Find out who they are and hear how scouting has impacted their lives as young people and adults on Tuesday!

Junk Yard Racers will take place on November 5th from 3-5 PM in the Grace Church parking lot. Download the rules below and information for that event. If you have any questions please see your den leader or you can send me an email.

Good afternoon!

Pack 250 has an exciting event planned for Friday, October 28th called “Belt Loop University”. Cub scouts of all levels (Tiger through Webelos 2) will have the opportunity to complete 2 academic belt loop classes that night. Please see your den leader for information on the belt loop classes available and to sign up for this event. Belt Loop University will take place at Grace Church from 7:00-8:30 PM.

This is a reminder that we will have our first Pack meeting of the new school year tonight, September, 6th at 7 PM at Grace Church. We will be having our Popcorn Kickoff as well as awarding any summer achievements. Payment for Beach Sweep and Gold Rush will also be due at this time.See you tomorrow!
