Week 5 2011 Popcorn Sales Update

Our sale is quickly coming to a close and I promise these next two weeks are going to be filled with lots of craziness – if you’re not sick of me yet, you will be soon!!  :-)  Just think, two weeks from tonight we will be on that stage to officially recognize our top sellers!!  Who will sell their $350 minimum and get to throw a pie in a Leader’s face that night??  Who will be our top 10 sellers and get a day of fun at Sports Connection??  Who will be our top two selling Den’s and get a pizza party??  Who will be our top online seller??  And, finally, who will be the top seller for Pack 250 for 2011??  You may think you know the answers, but a lot can change in two weeks.  These last two weeks are the most critical to our sale.  This is what puts us on the map as being the top selling Pack!!  If you have not sold your $350 minimum yet, what are you waiting for??  Did you know that last year we missed our Pack Goal by 4 Scouts??  I don’t want to deliver that kind of news again!!  Remember . . . just because you CAN turn in popcorn doesn’t mean you have to, and just because you DID turn in popcorn, doesn’t mean you stop selling!!!  We can do anything for two more weeks!!  The sale ends October 23rd.

Our pack is still going strong - we are currently at $38,249.  Congratulations again to our top three sellers this week . . . Ryan Certo, Don Douglass and Spencer Dulin.  Since they have all earned at least two trips to the Prize Table, I wanted to use this week to spread the wealth a little.  I want to recognize a few who have been selling hard with little or no recognition.  These Scouts have consistently reported totals to me every week which in turn has put them in the top selling tier.  Congratulations to Dyson Rutter, Evan Mucciarone, Adam Bradberry, and Nikalas Bradberry.  Because of your consistency, the four of you have earned a trip to the Prize Table at the December Pack Meeting.

Our Sales BLITZ on Saturday was a great success!  Congratulations to the following Scouts who came out and sold . . . Jack Dean, Spencer Dulin, Nikalas Bradberry, Adam Bradberry, Don Douglass, Ryan Certo, and William Coughenour.  Again, their consistency paid off – they sold a total of $1539 in one short day.  They each earned a great prize courtesy of The Council and Walmart that they got to bring home with them.

One Secret House was found this weekend.  Congratulations to Don Douglass for finding House #4 - you will earn another trip to the Prize Table.  Secret Houses are a fast way to earn an extra prize and add up those sales!!  There are still three out there.  Watch your e-mail for more clues this week.

Congratulations to the following Scouts who have earned a FREE Adult ticket & Scout ticket to the Dollar General 300 NASCAR Race on Friday night.  They were part of the first 100 Scouts in The Council to submit $300 in sales.  Pack 250 will be the largest Pack represented with 36 winners.  Please make sure someone gets me a group picture to include in our Results presentation and to send to The Council.  Remember, the next 100 Scouts get tickets to the May race so send me your scans as soon as you hit $300 in sales.  Hmmm . . . so how many of you are going to take Caramel Corn with you to sell in the parking lot??  I have plenty so let me know.
