Cub Scout Pack 250

Pack 250 Leaders,

I have great news! The upcoming Pow Wow on November 19 has been moved to be held at Grace Presbyterian from 8:30am to 3pm (includes lunch).

As you may recall, this is advanced leader training that will satisfy the most difficult requirement for a Leader Service Knot in one day! Oh, and it will also give you a great leg up on leading your cub scouts to a wonderful program year. Read the rest of this entry »

Just a reminder that tonight is the popcorn pickup from 5-7PM in the Church Parking Lot.  Please remember to form two lines on either side of the truck, do not get out of your car until you are at the tables, and please be patient as I do not have enough help and we have a lot of Scouts picking up a lot of popcorn tonight.  If you can help this evening from 4:45 – 7, please let me know.

Pack 250 Families,

While our Webelo II Scouts are looking forward to their transition to Boy Scouts and Troop 250 our Pack Committee will also have parents that will be moving on from Pack.  As a result there will be two openings on the Pack 250 Leadership Committee for the positions of Pack Treasurer and Pack Secretary.  Read the rest of this entry »

We are all set! Thank you to those families who have offered to help out at the Warehouse on Thursday morning and thank you to Randy Minnich who was able to hook us up with a truck to transport all our popcorn. I will need a couple of helpers on Thursday night from about 4:45 – 7:00 to help make this a smooth process (earlier if you want to get your popcorn first) – please let me know if you can help.

The pickup will be from 5-7PM on Thursday, November 10th in the church parking lot – just look for the big truck. We will have two lines form on either side of the truck. Please stay in your car and pull all the way through to the tables so that you can load your popcorn easily. Read the rest of this entry »

W O W . . . what an amazing night we had on Popcorn turn in night . . . full of records!! I just want to take a minute to thank everyone for all their hard work during the popcorn sale this year. Thank you to all the Scouts for pushing through, to all the parents who had to drive them around, and all the families for their support. We couldn’t have done what we did without you and this year is no exception!!! We started with a record 94% participation rate which means almost every Scout in Pack 250 sold at least one box of popcorn.
