Pack 250 Pinewood Derby Update
No Comments
The Pinewood Derby is Saturday, January, 28th. We hope your scout is in the process of putting the final touches on his derby car. To help you better plan for the event, I’ve have two documents below to download: 1) an Agenda for the event that will help you understand what will take place on Friday and Saturday 2) a “Declaration of Derby Work” that you will be asked to sign as part of the registration process. Also, please see below the information regarding the collection of medical forms at the Pinewood Derby and what to do if you are not planning to attend the races on Saturday.
We need two volunteers from each den to help throughout the day. All volunteers should plan to attend the volunteer training on Friday evening to sign up for their specific responsibilities and time slot. Den leaders need to coordinate with their parents to make certain we have two volunteers from each den.
As always, if there are any questions please do not hesitate to ask.– Gordon Folz CubMaster Pack 250Medical Forms
Boy Scouts of America requires that the BSA Health and Medical Record be completed annually by Scouts who participate in any kind of scouting event. This is a Boy Scouts of America policy that the Pack must abide by and follow.
The Pack has designated the Pinewood Derby on January 28th as the collection point for these forms. If you will not be participating in the Pinewood Derby, then please provide the forms to your Den Leader or email them to cubmaster250@gmail.com
There are 4 parts to the form, but only Parts A & B (pages 2 and 3) need to be completed. The form can be accessed through the following link:

This information helps the Pack plan fun and safe activities for all Scouts to enjoy, so please provide any specifics regarding allergies or other health concerns that need to be considered when planning events.
