Fort Mill Pack 250 USS Yorktown Trip Nov 5th – 7th
Pack 250 Families, your invited to Pack 250′s USS Yorktown Trip and camp out.
Who: Pack 250 Families – siblings are welcome
What: 2 Night camping trip aboard the WWII aircraft carrier the USS Yorktown
Where: 40 Patriots Point Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC
When: Friday, November 5-Sunday November 7, 2010, Meet at 7:30PM at the Yorktown on Nov 5th, we must all go in together.
Why: To experience the majesty of the USS Yorktown, sleep in the berthing areas where sailors once slept , and learn about naval and aviation history.
Cost: $80 per person – Money due on Aug 31st

Transportation: Everyone will drive themselves. We will be looking into charter buses, etc, but for now plan to drive on your own.
Pack 250 has the exciting chance to travel to Charleston, SC to stay on the USS Yorktown! We will be boarding the ship together on Friday, November 5th at 8:30 PM and camp for 2 nights. While there we will be learning about life onboard a naval vessel as well as have the opportunity for a day excursion in the Charleston area. Meals will be provided all day Saturday as well as breakfast on Sunday. Dinner on Friday is not provided. Carry on food and drinks will not be allowed.
Things to bring: Sleeping bag, pillow, bath towel, and necessary personal effects such as shampoo and toothpaste. Bug spray is advised. We will be sleeping in the berthing quarters on the ship which have cots in them. The Yorktown does not have coed sleeping quarters so there is a separate sleeping area for women.
This will be a memorable trip. We hope you can join us!
