Oct12No CommentsOur sale is quickly coming to a close and I promise these next two weeks are going to be filled with lots of craziness – if you’re not sick of me yet, you will be soon!! :-) Just think, two weeks from tonight we will be on that stage to officially recognize our top sellers!! Who will sell their $350 minimum and get to throw a pie in a Leader’s face that night?? Who will be our top 10 sellers and get a day of fun at Sports Connection?? Who will be our top two selling Den’s and get a pizza party?? Who will be our top online seller?? And, finally, who will be the top seller for Pack 250 for 2011?? You may think you know the answers, but a lot can change in two weeks. These last two weeks are the most critical to our sale. This is what puts us on the map as being the top selling Pack!! If you have not sold your $350 minimum yet, what are you waiting for?? Did you know that last year we missed our Pack Goal by 4 Scouts?? I don’t want to deliver that kind of news again!! Remember . . . just because you CAN turn in popcorn doesn’t mean you have to, and just because you DID turn in popcorn, doesn’t mean you stop selling!!! We can do anything for two more weeks!! IMPORTANT – Please read through this entire post thoroughly!!! Den Leaders, Den Kernels & Scout Families: Please make sure everyone in your Den is aware of this popcorn announcement.
Show & Deliver returns will begin on Monday during the hours listed below. If you have Show & Deliver popcorn that you were not able to sell, you will have until Thursday night to return it. If you do not return it by Thursday night, you will be responsible for remitting full payment for the entire amount at the end of the sale (as stated in the pickup form you signed). There are NO EXCEPTIONS!!! If you call me in a frantic on Friday morning because you were out of town or forgot, you will NOT be able to return it as The Pack will have already returned it to The Council!! So plan ahead!! Also, this in no way means you are done selling. You will still have 10 more days to do Take Orders, Online Sales, and earn prizes!! Finally, please be respectful my time. WOW . . . it looks like Christmas morning at my house because I just picked up the prizes from Council for tomorrow’s Sales BLITZ and they are amazing!!! Please read through this entire e-mail thoroughly to see the rules for the BLITZ.
BLITZ RULES:- Anybody participating in the BLITZ needs to meet me in the Church parking lot on Saturday at 9AM to receive your Blitz Day Order Form (no other forms will be accepted).
- Go out and sell using your Blitz Day Order Form.
- All sales between 9AM – 4PM count: Show & Deliver, Take Orders, Online Sales (must be printed and time stamped), and Cash Donations.
- Return to the Church at 4:30 PM to turn in your BLITZ Day Order Forms.

It’s been a crazy week around here so I apologize ahead of time as I will have a lot to talk about and you will be receiving several e-mails from me. We are getting close to the end of the sale and we are getting close to our Pack Goal, BUT we still need every Scout selling in order to have a successful year in Scouting!! Remember how much fun they had watching the video at our kickoff?? Remember how excited they all were to get a chance to throw a pie in Cubmaster Mark’s face that night?? I want to see every Scout sell their $350 goal and earn a chance to throw that pie in a Leader’s face – take it from me, it really is a lot of fun!!! We currently only have 33/103 Scouts who have met their goal – that’s just not enough!! We need every Scout selling!! Remember, there is a $140 fee for those who don’t sell their $350 goal. This message is for anyone in the Pack who has sold Take Orders and anyone who took Show & Deliver popcorn.
We have the opportunity to return any unopened/unsold Show & Deliver popcorn back to the District next week. Since our current sales are very close to the total amount of Show & Deliver we took, I want to get a more accurate feel of whether or not we will need to return popcorn to the District. Please read through and follow the steps below and then reply with only the information I am asking for. This information is a guideline for me only – it is in no way a final count on your part. Your sales will be turned in on October 23-24. Once I have a better feel on where we stand with Show & Deliver, I will send out instructions on how you can return or pick up more popcorn.
