Cub Scout Pack 250

This Sunday, February 5th is Scout Sunday. However, Grace Church will be recognizing Scout Sunday one week later on February 12th. If your scout plans to attend Scout Sunday at his home church wearing his uniform and participating in the service in some small way, please let us know so that we can award him with a Scout Sunday patch. If your scout will attend Grace Church on February 12th the patches will be handed out at that time.

Cubmaster Pack 250

The Pinewood Derby is Saturday, January, 28^th.  We hope your scout is in the process of putting the final touches on his derby car.  To help you better plan for the event, I’ve have two documents below to download:  1) an Agenda for the event that will help you understand what will take place on Friday and Saturday   2) a “Declaration of Derby Work” that you will be asked to sign as part of the registration process.

Also, please see below the information regarding the collection of medical forms at the Pinewood Derby and what to do if you are not planning to attend the races on Saturday.

We need two volunteers from each den to help throughout the day.  All volunteers should plan to attend the volunteer training on Friday evening to sign up for their specific responsibilities and time slot. Read the rest of this entry »

The Pinewood Derby is Saturday, Januray 28th and now is the time to begin making plans for building your cars. For those new to the pack (or anyone that wants to gain a better understanding), Pack 250 will host an educational session -

This is a reminder that our November Pack meeting is this Tuesday, November 15th at 7:00 PM at Grace Church.

As part of the meeting that night we will have Boy Scouts coming to join us from Troop 250. They will be speaking to our Cub Scouts about their experiences in scouting at the Boy Scout level as well as the path to Eagle Scout. Did you know that within Pack 250 there are leaders who are Eagle Scouts? Find out who they are and hear how scouting has impacted their lives as young people and adults on Tuesday!

Hello Pack 250,

This is just a reminder that Scouting for Food pickup is tomorrow, November 12th. Here is the plan for the morning:

1. Meet as a Pack at 9 AM in the Grace Church parking lot

2. Split into groups to collect food

3. Return to Grace to consolidate food

4. The Cobras and Den 15 will deliver the food to the Fort Mill Care Center

(Last year I believe we were done by 11 AM.)

Please remember to have your scouts in full uniform.
