2011 Cub Scout Day Camp Update

The Council has sent the day camp registration forms and most everyone should have received them by last Friday.  If you did not receive one we’ll be getting copies to your Den Leader at Tuesday’s Den Leader meeting.  The camp is 6/20-6/24 at the Greenway and is for rising 2^nd-4^th graders.

Pack 250 Leaders,

This email contains important updated information regarding Webelos and Cub Scout Summer Camp 2011.

After our last meeting, I learned that the dates for Webelos Resident Camp have changed.  The correct dates are:

Webelos Resident Camp:  Session 1 July 17-20;  Session 2 July 20-23

It’s time for another exciting Gold Rush family campout. Gold Rush is scheduled a later this year and is the weekend of November 12 through the 14th. An evite went out this week to Pack 250 members to RSVP. Below is what was on the Gold Rush Evite:

Pack 250 Families,

York District Summer Cub Scout Day Camp is scheduled for June 21 – 25.  Cost is $75.00 per Scout and is open to rising 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th graders.

The camp location will be Anne Springs Greenway on June 21-24 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and the Baxter YMCA on June 25^th from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Registration forms have been mailed by the district, but I’ve also attached the forms to this email.  Please note that both registration forms must be completed to cover the Anne Springs Greenway and Baxter YMCA locations.

The Pack will turn in registration forms and fees as a group.  Please have the forms and fees to John Scales or your Den Leader by May 18^th. Read the rest of this entry »

Webelos camp will be here before we know it.  The dates for each session are below, along with some deadlines.  Bear dens – please strongly encourage your scouts to participate.  If you would like for someone to come to a meeting to share the camp experience please let me know.
